How did you first meet?
We met online at plentyoffish.com.
What was your first date? What encouraged you to keep dating?
When we met for the first time we walked along the shores of Lake Superior on the lake walk. We knew then we were good for each other.
What was your best date ever and what made it so outstanding?
Our best date was our first weekend together. We drove 6 hours to Sioux Falls and learned a lot about each other during the car ride. We got to go through each other’s home towns and see where the other was from. Saw the towns that raised us and made us who we are.
What are some marriage resources that have helped you build a better marriage?
To be married in the Catholic Church we were highly encouraged to attend an “Engaged Encounter Weekend.” It was a weekend centered around asking each other hard questions and planning out what our marriage will look like. It opened up great conversations and taught us to communicate.
When you think about your future together, what are you most excited about?
Exploring new places!
Thank you so much, Jeremy and Elizabeth, for sharing your story!
