Think legacy.
- Tell your kids the story of your first date with your spouse.
- Think of a 2-3 reasons why going out on a date with your spouse is good for your kids. Talk to your kids about those reasons. Enlist their help and support in planning a surprise date with your mate.
- Find an elderly couple whose marriage you admire. Ask them about their first date. Better yet, arrange for a double date and talk more in depth.
